Data value chain is all the links from when the business requests the product (Ai project, visualisation, metaverse…) till when it actually goes live.
This means businesses analysis, teams collecting requirements, architecture team, data engineering team and more. The more links you have, the longer is your data value chain and the higher the risk something will get lost in communication between your value chain.
Also, in those long value chains remember that you are as strong as the weakest link in your chain.
