As a data strategy practitioner and academic, I can definitely say that data indeed be a valuable resource. It can provide insights and information that can be used to make informed decisions, improve processes, and drive business growth. With the better use of analytics as well as current and future technologies (AI, Digital twins and more), companies are now able to analyse and make sense of large amounts of data in ways that were previously not possible.
Having said that, it is worth noting that having a lot of data doesn’t necessarily guarantee useful insights or results. The data must be of reasonable quality, properly collected, and analysed in the correct way.
Make sure your data strategy has a clear roadmap to utilise the best value out of your data!
