Love sharing knowledge on LinkedIn but the learner in me loves to learn as well. Earlier this week, I wrote a post asking for suggested podcasts as I love them atm. Alice was so kind to comment and share her blog post https://researcherlibrarian.wordpress.com/2023/09/06/professional-podcasts/
I read through the post, loved how she wrote it and followed some of the podcasts she shared. It had a variety of academic and non-academic podcasts.
What I learned in addition to the podcasts was that there are audiobooks available through my local libraries and I can use apps like BorrowBox and Libby. Already looked this up today and can’t wait to try this. I prefer reading books, well actually prefer reading physical books. Yup, I am one of those who read a book with a pen and write personal notes. Maybe can share that in another post. For today, I wanted to share what I learned with you. Similar to podcasts, I will be giving audiobooks through my local library a go and see if it works for me. I know some people prefer audio books so sharing what Alice shared with you here – thanks Alice!
Happy weekend, happy reading/listening, happy learning 📚 🎧
